Registration for fall recreational league play starts April 1. A Player is registered by a Parent through either our Online Registration or via a Registration Form that can be mailed, faxed, or scanned & emailed to the NYSA Office.

Online Registration
If you are a parent of a previously registered NYSA Player, you can register players during Registration periods by logging onto the NYSA Site with your SiteName and Password and clicking on Parent: Registration-Select Player. If you are a parent of a player that is new to the NYSA, you can register a player online during Registration periods, but you must first become a Member of NYSA yourself. Click your way to Logon: Join NYSA to start your Member registration process. After becoming a Member, log onto the NYSA website with your SiteName and password. Then click on Parent: Registration-Select Player. Choose {new player} and click Next. Fill in the required data entry fields for the new player and continue through the registration stages until you reach the Receipt page.
In Person Registration
Computers will be available in the NYSA office for you to do online registration during office hours and during the scheduled Evening and Saturday Open Registrations. (see our Calendar for when and where these are scheduled)
By Mail Registration
Print the registration form. Send the completed form with your check and Proof of Birth (if new to NYSA) to the NYSA Office.
Registration Period
Open Registration for new and returning recreational players is April 1 to May 31. Players who register during this time period are guaranteed a spot on a team provided the team is viable and a volunteer coach can be secured. Player fees are discounted $15 during this time period. See Priority Registration Chart #1.

Players who register after May 31 will be assigned to teams on a space available basis so they may or may not be able to be placed on their previous teams. See Registration Chart #2 for the registration fees for this time period.
Proof of Age
A copy of a certified birth certificate or passport is required for players that did not play with NYSA last season.

The applicable AssociationTerm Registration Fees (for calendar year 2014) are as follows (after Open Registration ends add a $15 Late Fee):

These fees are not applicable for FC Alliance Premier and NSC Club Select.

Per the WSYSA playing year, the playing ages run from August 1 to the following July 31.
